1. General policy — Cancellation and refund terms depend on the operator, tour type, service type, booking timing, weather, payment method, and final confirmed booking terms.
2. Before payment — If no payment or deposit has been made, there is usually no refund issue. The customer can contact SamuiDeals to cancel or change the request.
3. Before confirmation — Submitting a request is not a confirmed booking. If availability is not confirmed, there is no confirmed booking.
4. After confirmation — Once availability is confirmed and payment or deposit is made, cancellation terms depend on the operator and confirmed booking terms.
5. Operator-specific rules — Some tours or services may have stricter cancellation rules, especially private tours, boats, transport, high-demand dates, early morning trips, same-day bookings, custom arrangements, group bookings, property or services, and special events.
6. Weather and safety — Weather, sea conditions, safety concerns, government restrictions, or operator decisions may cause a trip to be rescheduled, changed, or cancelled. If this happens, SamuiDeals will help coordinate next steps based on the operator’s policy.
7. Refund timing — Approved refunds may take time depending on the operator, bank, payment method, and processing time.
8. Non-refundable situations — Refunds may not be available for no-show, late arrival, wrong customer information, missed pickup, customer changes made too late, refusal to follow safety rules, or cancellation after the allowed period.
9. Deposits — Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the operator and booking type. Deposit rules will be shared before payment when possible.
10. Custom and private bookings — Private tours, transport, boat charters, custom services, property appointments, event services, and special arrangements may have separate cancellation rules.
11. SamuiDeals support role — SamuiDeals will help communicate with the operator and support the customer, but refunds are subject to operator approval and confirmed booking terms.
12. Final terms before payment — Final cancellation and refund terms will be shared before payment or deposit when applicable.

Refund handling and deductions
If a refund is approved, SamuiDeals may process the refund directly or coordinate the refund with the operator, depending on how the payment was collected.
Refunds are not automatic. Each refund request is reviewed based on the confirmed booking terms, operator policy, timing, reason for cancellation, payment method, and whether costs have already been committed.
The final refund amount may be reduced by operator fees, payment fees, bank fees, card fees, non-refundable deposits, reserved service costs, or any SamuiDeals service/admin fee that was clearly disclosed before payment.
SamuiDeals will not guarantee a full refund after payment unless the operator’s policy and booking terms allow it.
