Hin Lad Waterfall is one of Koh Samui’s quieter natural attractions, located inland from Nathon. Reaching the waterfall involves walking through tropical forest along a rocky trail, making the journey part of the experience.

At the end of the trail, you’ll find the waterfall and natural pools surrounded by dense greenery. Water levels vary throughout the year, with stronger flow typically following periods of rain. Tripadvisor visitors also note that the hike can be tiring and that wet rocks around the falls are slippery.
