How the 7-day protection and 30-day tracking work
An active referral is protected for 7 days. After that, another eligible referral can replace it. Otherwise, tracking can remain active for up to 30 days.

The active referral is still inside its 7-day protection period, so it is not replaced.
A new referral can become active
After the protection period, a new eligible referral can replace the previous one and begins its own 7-day protection.
Tracking can stay active
If no eligible referral replaces it, the current active referral can remain for up to 30 days.

How referral tracking works
When a traveller opens SamuiDeals through an approved referral link or QR code, the referral code is saved on the traveller's device and can be used to attribute eligible bookings.
Tracking can remain active for up to 30 days. Each referral that becomes active receives its own 7-day protection period. During that protection period, another partner referral does not replace the active referral. After the protection period, a new eligible referral can become active.
How commission is calculated
Referral commission is calculated from SamuiDeals' eligible net commission, not from the full amount paid by the customer.
Eligible net commission means the commission SamuiDeals receives after applicable eligible fees and costs are deducted. The referral partner earns 20% of that eligible net amount.
What counts as an eligible booking?
A booking must be attributed to the approved referral, completed, not cancelled or refunded, and meet the current Referral Program Terms.
SamuiDeals may review attribution or booking eligibility when necessary to prevent abuse, duplicate claims, or incorrect commission credit.
What partners are responsible for
- Use your own approved partner account and referral tools.
- Represent SamuiDeals accurately and honestly.
- Do not promise prices, discounts, availability, or booking confirmation unless SamuiDeals has confirmed them.
- Do not misuse referral tracking or attempt to create false commission claims.
